Seat upholstery. Capri seats come in PPM, Italian PPM and PPM-S, all polyurethane performance leathers, in white extra-loop boucle, or in Camira Blazer wool, the premium cover. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Capri Sled pairs the Capri seat, a shaped shell with a gently curved, slightly flared back and a deep 18 in cushion, with a steel sled base. The sled's continuous runners have plastic glides tucked into the steel, so the chair moves smoothly over carpet and hard floors alike, which makes it a favorite for lounges, restaurants and conference rooms. Finish the sled in chrome, black, solid brushed stainless steel or gold brass. Inside, an S-spring steel frame is molded in injected polyurethane foam for firm, lasting support.

Planning notes

• Allow about 24 to 26 in of table edge per chair; the chair is 19 in wide.
• The 18 in seat suits 29 to 30 in tables.
• Brushed stainless steel is the most wear-resistant sled finish for commercial rooms.
• Make sure pedestal or trestle table bases leave room for the runners.
• Shipping: in-stock chairs ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your seat and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
