Raised to 30 inches, Calvin becomes a console: a 48 by 18 inch Carrara marble top on two tall polished stainless steel end frames. Set it behind a floating sofa to hold lamps and a catch-all tray, or against an entry wall under a mirror. The open frame shows off the floor and keeps the stone looking crisp in modern and transitional homes. Hotels and offices use it in lobbies and corridors as a slim display surface.

Care
Marble is natural stone and slightly porous: use coasters, wipe spills (especially wine, coffee and citrus) right away with a soft damp cloth, and dry the surface. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. Wipe the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth. Each marble top has its own veining and shade, so no two tables match exactly.
