Leg finish

The Buca Metal is a true dining armchair: a curved tub seat whose back sweeps forward into low arms, set on four slim chrome-plated steel tube legs. The wraparound shape holds you comfortably through a long dinner, yet at 22.5 in wide it still slides under most tables, because the arms sit at 26.5 in. Inside, a steel frame with S-shaped springs is encased in injection-molded foam, and the cover closes with hook-and-loop fasteners so it can be removed. Use it at the heads of a table, around a round dining table, or as a full set in a restaurant or lounge.

• Allow about 28 in of table edge per armchair; the chair is 22.5 in wide.
• The arms are 26.5 in high: check that your table apron is at least that high if you want to tuck the chair in.
• The 18 in seat suits standard 29 to 30 in tables.
• Rated for 250 lb, so it suits dining rather than heavy-duty commercial use; the wood-leg Buca is rated for 200 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
