Base finishes

The Bottega Wire stool builds its base from solid steel wire bent into a tall frame with a built-in foot bar, the counter- and bar-height sibling of the Bottega Wire armchair. The wire outline is light and open, so a row of stools along an island does not block the view of the cabinetry. Glides embedded in the wire protect the floor. Choose chrome, black, white or bone powder coat, or gold, in counter or bar height. It carries the highest weight rating of the metal Bottega stools, 350 lb, and the arm seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs inside molded polyurethane foam with a zip-on slipcover.

• Allow about 26 in of counter per stool.
• White and bone show scuffs from shoes on the foot bar sooner than chrome, black or gold.
• The high back is not offered in PPM.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
