At 79 in, the Bosphorus medium is the size most dining rooms are planned around: six with room to spare, or eight for dinner. It has the widest top choice of the three sizes, from walnut, wenge oak and natural ash veneer to white or matte grey lacquer. The top rests on two solid steel sled legs in chrome or black, which keep the sides open for chairs and benches. It also works as a desk-height meeting table in Modern offices.

Care
Dust the top with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away. Use coasters, placemats and trivets; veneer and lacquer can mark from heat and standing water. Avoid silicone polishes and harsh cleaners. Keep the table out of direct sun and away from heaters, which can fade or dry the wood. Grain and tone vary from piece to piece.
