Seat upholstery. Faux leather in black or light grey and the cinnamon PPM-FR leatherette are the entry options. Light grey S-PPM is a silicone-finished performance leather that wipes clean, and the turquoise Camira Blazer is a pure new wool contract fabric. Base finishes

On the round base, the Avanos lounge shell turns on a single brushed stainless column above a flat disc, so there are no legs to trip over and nothing to snag a vacuum. The swivel lets you turn from a fireplace to a TV or from a reception desk to a window without getting up. The disc is 21.5 in across, which keeps the footprint tight in a bedroom corner or a small hotel room. Upholstery runs from faux leather and PPM-FR to light grey S-PPM and turquoise Camira Blazer wool.

Planning notes

• The flat disc base suits hard floors and low-pile rugs; deep shag can tilt it.
• Leave about 6 in behind the shell so it can turn without hitting a wall.
• The 21.5 in disc gives the smallest footprint of the Avanos lounge bases.
• Wipe the brushed stainless with the grain to keep the finish even.
• Shipping: in-stock lounge chairs ship in 3 to 5 business days. If your upholstery and base combination is out of stock or on its way to our warehouse, please allow 10 to 15 weeks for it to ship.

Who it is not for

• Rooms that need a chair to stay pointed one way: see the Avanos Wood Lounge
• Outdoor or poolside use
• Anyone who needs armrests to stand up

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Avanos Round lounge swivel?

Yes. The shell turns a full circle on the round stainless base.

How big is the base?

The brushed stainless disc is 21.5 in across, smaller than the four-star, oval and sword bases.

Is the base safe on wood floors?

The flat disc spreads the load across the floor. Keep the floor clean under it, as grit under any metal base can scratch.

How high is the seat and how much weight does it hold?

The seat is 16.6 in high and the chair is rated for 350 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather and PPM-FR are the least expensive seats. Light grey S-PPM sits in the middle, and turquoise Camira Blazer wool is the most expensive tier.

Can it be made in another fabric?

Yes, in customer's own material: 2.7 yd of fabric or 37.7 sq ft of leather.
