Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR, S-PPM and PPM are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the off-white boucle is a soft looped fabric; Camira Era and Camira Blazer wool are woven contract fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Avanos Pyramid-MW is a swivel stool built on steel: four angled legs rise to a swivel plate under the seat, and a round footrest ring circles the legs at a comfortable height. It gives you the turn-and-talk ease of a swivel at an island or bar while keeping a slim, leggy profile. The legs come in walnut veneer or natural veneer with a chrome footrest, or black with a brass footrest for a darker, dressier look. Its fiberglass shell, padded plywood seat and steel frame carry a 300 lb rating.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 24 in per stool; swivel seats need a little extra elbow room.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Does it swivel?

Yes. The four legs meet at a swivel plate under the seat, so the seat turns a full circle.

Counter or bar height?

The counter stool has a 24.5 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters; the bar stool has a 29.5 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Is there a footrest?

Yes, a round metal footrest ring: chrome on the veneer versions, brass on the black version.

Are the veneer legs wood?

They are steel legs with walnut or natural wood veneer.

Why do the prices differ?
