Base finishes

The Avanos Piston is the one Avanos stool that adjusts: a gas piston lifts the seat anywhere from 21.5 to 31.5 in, so a single stool works at a kitchen counter, a bar or a drafting table. It sits on a heavy round base with a full footrest ring that circles the column, giving your feet support at every height, and the seat swivels. Choose polished stainless steel, brushed stainless steel or black. Like every Avanos stool, the upholstered fiberglass shell and padded plywood seat are rated for 300 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
