The Avanos Large Office is the lounge-size Avanos shell, 28 in wide and 27 in deep, on a five-star office base fitted with a short gas piston. The lower seat and deep, enveloping back make it a relaxed executive or reading chair rather than a compact task chair. It still tilts, swivels and rolls, so it works at a partners desk, in a private office or in a client lounge where people sit for a while. Pair the chrome, black or gold base with lighter shells for a crisp contrast, or choose aluminum for a broader footprint.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

What is the seat height?

The short gas piston adjusts the seat from 15 to 17.5 in, a lounge height.

Will it fit under my desk?

It needs about 32 in between desk legs or pedestals because the shell is 28 in wide. Many people use it beside the desk or as a reading chair.

Does it tilt and swivel?

Yes. The five-star base has full tilt, swivel and casters.
