Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR, S-PPM and PPM are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the off-white boucle is a soft looped fabric; Camira Era and Camira Blazer wool are woven contract fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

The Avanos Cross is the most budget-friendly four-leg chair in the Avanos line: straight steel tube legs braced by an X of stretchers under the seat. The crossed stretchers stiffen the frame, which matters in restaurants where chairs are tipped back and dragged all day. Black painted steel gives a crisp Industrial outline; polished stainless steel brightens the room and suits commercial cleaning. The seat is a molded fiberglass shell with a padded plywood pan, upholstered all over and rated for 300 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
