Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR, S-PPM and PPM are polyurethane performance leathers that wipe clean; the off-white boucle is a soft looped fabric; Camira Era and Camira Blazer wool are woven contract fabrics. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Avanos 4 Star rides on a low, four-arm star base with a memory swivel, a look borrowed from mid-century office chairs and brought to the dining table. The seat turns freely while you sit and returns to face forward when you stand, so a row of chairs stays neat without anyone straightening it. The flat arms spread the load wide and stay close to the floor; finishes are chrome, black, white, gold and brass. The upholstered fiberglass shell with padded plywood seat is rated for 300 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
