Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-FR and PPM-S are polyurethane performance leathers, the black boucle is a looped, textured fabric, and Camira Blazer is a woven wool contract fabric. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Athena Wire sets the rounded Athena shell on a base bent from solid steel wire, with two runners along the floor instead of four separate feet. The runners spread the load, so the chair glides over hard floors and sits steady on flat-weave rugs. It is the most affordable way into the Athena line and a strong choice for cafes and busy kitchens. The wire comes in chrome, gold, or powder-coated black, white, bone or red for a pop of color. Inside the shell is a sprung steel frame molded in polyurethane foam.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
