Base finishes

The Athena 4 Star puts the rounded Athena shell on a low four-prong steel base with a memory swivel, so the chair turns when you sit and returns to face the table when you get up. That self-centering action keeps a dining room or conference table looking tidy without anyone straightening chairs. The base comes in chrome, black, white, gold or brass to match table hardware or lighting. A sprung steel frame inside molded polyurethane foam gives the seat its support.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
