Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers; nubuck, boucle, Camira fabrics and wool give a softer, textured seat; Camira Blazer wool and black full-grain leather are the premium covers. Leg finishes

The Aria Wood gives the squared Aria seat four solid wood legs, and it offers more leg choices than any other Aria chair. Pick beech in a walnut or wenge finish, natural ash, black sandblasted ash or solid American walnut; walnut-finish beech can also carry a chrome ring that links the legs just above the floor. For restaurants, side stretchers brace the legs, add stiffness and raise the rating from 300 to 350 lb. The sprung, foam-molded seat wears a removable Velcro slipcover in 39 colors.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

What are the leg options?

Solid beech in walnut or wenge finish, natural ash, black sandblasted ash and solid American walnut. Walnut-finish beech is also offered with a chrome ring, and walnut beech and black ash are offered with side stretchers.

Should I choose stretchers?

Choose them for restaurants and busy homes. They brace the legs against rocking and raise the capacity from 300 to 350 lb.

What is the chrome ring?

A chrome metal ring that joins the four legs near the floor on the walnut-finish beech base. It adds a bright accent and protects the legs from shoe scuffs.

Does it fit a standard dining table?

Yes. The seat is 18 in high for 29 to 30 in tables, and the chair is 17 in wide.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather is the entry tier; PPM, nubuck, boucle and fabric seats are the middle tier; Camira Blazer wool and full-grain leather are the top tier. Solid American walnut, the chrome ring and the side stretchers each add a surcharge.

Is the cover removable?

Yes. The upholstery is a slipcover held with Velcro, so it can be cleaned or replaced.
