Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers; nubuck, boucle, Camira fabrics and wool give a softer, textured seat; Camira Blazer wool and black full-grain leather are the premium covers. Base finishes

The Aria Wire Stackable sets the Aria seat on a sled of solid steel wire, shaped so one chair nests on top of another. sohoConcept recommends stacking two high, enough to clear a floor for cleaning or store spare seating after an event. The wire sled glides over carpet, which is why it turns up in restaurants, senior living dining rooms and multipurpose rooms. Choose chrome, black or brass wire; the sprung, foam-molded seat has a Velcro slipcover and is rated for 350 lb.

• Allow about 22 to 24 in of table edge per chair.
• The 18 in seat suits 29 to 30 in tables.
• On polished floors, add felt pads under the wire glides.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
