Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-S and Italian PPM are polyurethane performance leathers; nubuck, boucle, Camira fabrics and wool give a softer, textured seat; Camira Blazer wool and black full-grain leather are the premium covers. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finish

The Aria Sled Wood frames the Aria seat with a sled made from solid beech in a walnut finish: two flat wooden runners joined by uprights, a softer and more architectural take on the steel sled. It reads beautifully against plaster walls, linen and oak, and the runners slide easily on rugs. The seat is the same sprung, foam-molded Aria shell with a removable Velcro slipcover, offered in 39 colors. Rated for 350 lb, it works in homes as well as hospitality dining rooms.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

How is it different from the Aria Sled?

The Aria Sled uses a bent steel sled in chrome, stainless or gold brass. The Sled Wood replaces it with a solid beech frame for a warmer look.

Yes. The flat runners glide on carpet and rugs and spread the chair's weight.

Why do the prices differ?
