Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM-FR is a flame-retardant polyurethane performance leather, velvet and boucle are soft, textured fabrics, and Camira Blazer is a wool contract fabric. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Leg finishes

This is the contract version of the Amed+ Wood: the same wide upholstered seat, with solid wood side stretchers joining the front and back legs on each side. The rails stop the frame racking when guests lean back, which lifts the rating to 400 lb and is why sohoConcept recommends this base for commercial floors. The standard legs are solid beech in a walnut finish; you can add a metal ring or step up to solid American walnut. The sprung, foam-molded seat wears a Velcro slipcover, so covers can be swapped when a dining room is refreshed.

• For a quieter leg line in a home, the Amed+ Wood without stretchers is lighter-looking.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.
