Leg finishes

The Amed Fino sets the Amed seat on the Fino base: four solid wood legs in natural or walnut-finish beech, or in solid American walnut, for kitchens, breakfast rooms and cafés. The seat and back are built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs and molded polyurethane foam, and the upholstery is a removable slipcover held with Velcro. It is rated for 400 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum Camira Era fabric regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Will it fit at my dining table?

The seat is 18 in high, which suits standard 29 to 30 in tables. The chair is 17 in wide, so most tables take one chair per 24 in of edge.

Are the legs solid wood?

Yes. The Fino legs are solid beech in a natural or walnut finish, or solid American walnut.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 400 lb.

Can the cover be replaced?

Yes. The upholstery is a slipcover held with Velcro, so it can be removed and replaced.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather seats cost less than S-PPM, nubuck PPM and Camira Era seats. Solid American walnut legs add to the price.

Can I order a different fabric?
