RO is by Kim Richardt, a former blacksmith and self-taught Danish designer who runs a vintage design furniture shop in central Copenhagen. The jute yarn shade is tied around a blackened iron frame, following Danish lamp-making traditions of the 1920s and 1930s; ro is Danish for calm.
