Stina has her roots in Småland, Sweden’s craft and design heartland, and Nina lived in France for many years; together they work on lighting, furniture, interior architecture and art direction, with simplicity and respect for form and function at the core. They have worked with Pholc since 2017.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Donna 15 is the most charming small sconce in our lighting range. Pholc is a Swedish lighting brand founded in 2015 by Maja and Samuel Norburg, who set out to define what Swedish design can be. It works with designers such as Broberg & Ridderstråle, Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall, Monika Mulder and Sabina Grubbeson, and every Pholc lamp is meant to have its own personality.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and never use detergents with abrasives or solvents (Pholc’s care advice); a soft brush reaches into the pleats. Have a licensed electrician install hardwired fixtures.
