Pholc Bellman 205 Long Swing-Arm Wall Lamp, Jet Black

A long, stable black arm that carries a soft shade far out from the wall: a reading light over the sofa without a floor lamp.

Bellman 205 pairs a simple, soft shade with a strong, masculine arm that reaches out about 51" to 81" from the wall. It puts light right over a sofa, a dining table or a bed while keeping the floor clear. It plugs in with a long 16.4 ft black textile cord and takes one E26 bulb.

About the designer

Sabina Grubbeson has her roots in Varberg, on Sweden’s west coast. After working as a designer for a Swedish lighting company, she founded Grubbeson Design in 2010 and has since designed lamps for brands such as Pholc, and more recently furniture and textiles.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Bellman 205 is a clever, beautiful solution for rooms without the right ceiling outlet. Pholc is a Swedish lighting brand founded in 2015 by Maja and Samuel Norburg, who set out to define what Swedish design can be. It works with designers such as Broberg & Ridderstråle, Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall, Monika Mulder and Sabina Grubbeson, and every Pholc lamp is meant to have its own personality.
