A slim 45 in plug-in floor lamp with a shade that turns independently of its post, built for reading chairs, sofa ends and bedside corners.

We curate lighting for the corners of a room, and the Talia floor lamp is one of the easiest ways to add light there. The post rotates 360 degrees and the shade turns 180 degrees, so the beam can land on a book, then swing toward a wall for background light. Frequently asked questions

How do I aim the light at a book rather than the room?

Turn the post up to 360 degrees to set the lamp's position, then turn the shade up to 180 degrees to aim the beam. Adjust both until the light falls on the page without glare.

Where is the dimmer?

On the lamp. An optical touch switch sets the brightness between 100 and 10 percent, so no wall dimmer is needed.

Is 350 lumens enough for reading?

For a single seat, yes. It is 350 lm at 3000K and 90 CRI, aimed at a task. For a room-wide glow, pair it with other lamps.
