We curate the Swell String 3 Mixed for spaces where a single pendant looks lost and a custom chandelier is overkill. Narrow, medium and wide spun-aluminum shades hang on one interconnected string, each with a brass interior that warms the light. It suits dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells, hotel lounges and covered patios, and more lamps can be added to the same string later.

Installation & planning

• Hardwired through a ceiling junction box; we recommend a licensed electrician.
• Vertical hanging uses the three included 10 ft cables, so measure the drop before ordering.
• Allow 22-28 in (56-71 cm) between lamp centers when you plan the string layout.
• Use a TRIAC / ELV dimmer sized for 13 W per lamp.
• Mount outdoors only under a roof or overhang.

Frequently asked questions

How low should the string hang over a dining table?

A common starting point is the bottom of the lowest shade 30-36 in above the tabletop. Cable length is 10 ft, so it can also serve rooms with tall ceilings.

Can I extend the string later?

Yes. The sockets interconnect, and a single feed can run up to 34 lamps, so you can add modules without a new circuit.

Can it hang sideways instead of straight down?

Yes, with the optional horizontal mounting kit (30 ft cable), which supports up to 12 lamps.

What dimmer should I use?

Pablo lists TRIAC / ELV control, with DALI on request. Choose a dimmer rated for the total lamp wattage on the string.

What bulb is inside, and can I replace it?

Each lamp takes one Satco 11 W E26 / PAR30 LED, which is replaceable. The color is a fixed 3000K; Pablo does not list other color temperatures for this string.

Does the brass interior change the light?

It warms and reflects the output downward and gives the shade a gold glow when viewed from the side. The color temperature stays at the lamp rating.
