A wood-shaded pendant that lights the table below and the ceiling above, and dims warmer as you lower it.

Sky Dome Wood pairs a pressed wood dome with Pablo's two-sided Sky light engine. The downlight is a glare-free flat panel for the surface below; the uplight washes the ceiling and shows the wood grain.

Choose an 18 in dome for a small table, nook or pair of bedside drops, or a 24 in dome for a standard dining table or island. Lamp and dome finishes mix, so it fits both warm and graphic rooms.

Installation & planning

• Hardwired to a junction box; Pablo recommends an electrician.
• The driver mounts to a bracket with the supplied tape; the guide shows the wiring colors for US and EU.
• Cable passes through the strain relief at the canopy; set the height with the set screws and trim extra cable.
• ELV dimmers are recommended for the smoothest dim-to-warm curve.
• The shade clamps to the post with an Allen key; use the offset table in the guide to place the shade.

Who this is not for

• Plug-in installs: it is hardwired.
• Damp or outdoor spaces: not specified for them.
• Very large rooms that need a 32 in dome: the wood version stops at 24 in.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose for my table?

As a guide, an 18 in dome suits a table or island up to about 3 ft wide; use 24 in for wider tables, or hang two 18 in domes.

Does the light really go both up and down?

Yes. Of 1,250 lm, 850 go down through a flat panel and 400 go up to the ceiling. The uplight also lights the dome from above.

How does dim-to-warm work?

The color temperature falls from 2700K at full output toward 2200K as you dim, like a halogen bulb. A fixed 3000K version is available on volume orders.

What dimmers should I pair it with?

TRIAC or ELV; Pablo recommends ELV. 0-10V and DALI are available on request.

Can I shorten the cable?

Yes. The 10 ft braided cable is field cuttable at the strain relief.

How do I clean the wood?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water and strong cleaners on the pressed wood.
