Pablo Cortina 24 Table Lamp, Clear Acrylic Column with Soft Fabric Diffuser and In-Line Dimmer

A 24 in acrylic column lamp that fills a dim corner with soft, diffused light you can dial up or down at the cord.

Modern Design Center curates lamps that earn their place on a console, credenza or sideboard, and the Cortina 24 does it as a quiet, upright column. A clear acrylic shade surrounds a translucent mesh fabric diffuser that hides the light source, so you see an even glow rather than a bulb. An in-line rotary dimmer sets the mood, and the narrow 8 in footprint fits tight surfaces.

Best for / where to use it

• Consoles and sideboards: a vertical glow that does not take much width.
• Bedside tables: gentle ambient light that dims low for evenings.
• Living room corners: a pair on either side of a sofa or fireplace.
• Hotel rooms and lounges: low-glare accent lighting for hospitality settings.
• Entryways and hallways: a welcoming light on a narrow table.

Installation & planning

• Plug-in: no wiring. Keep an outlet within the 6 ft (182 cm) cord.
• Place it on a stable, level surface at least 8 in wide.
• The in-line rotary dimmer sits on the cord, so leave room to reach it.
• Use a dimmable GU10 LED if you replace the lamp; the spec sheet lists a 7 W, 480 lm, 3000K source.
• Pablo also makes taller Cortina floor versions; this listing is the 24 in table lamp.

Who this is not for

• Task lighting: it is a diffused glow, not a focused beam.
• Anyone who wants cool-white or color-changing light: the source is 3000K.
• Damp or outdoor locations: Pablo publishes no damp or wet rating.
• Rooms that need a lot of light from one lamp: output is 480 lm.

Designers, architects and hotel buyers can join our trade program and request quotes for multi-unit orders.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the bulb through the shade?

No. A translucent mesh fabric diffuser sits inside the clear acrylic shade to shield the light source, so the glow looks even.

Where is the dimmer?

It is an in-line rotary dimmer on the cord, giving full-range control without a wall dimmer.

What bulb does it use?

Pablo lists a 7 W LED source with a GU10 base, 480 lm and 3000K.

Does it work with 240V power?

Yes. Pablo specifies 120V or 240V, with a 6 ft (182 cm) cable.

How much space does it need?

It stands 24 in (61 cm) tall and 8 in (20.5 cm) wide, so a narrow shelf or console is enough.

Can I get a taller version?

Pablo offers Cortina in taller sizes for the floor. This page covers the 24 in table lamp; contact us about other sizes.
