Pablo Contour Open-Frame LED Floor Lamp with Wood Interior, 1,800 Lumens, Dimmable

A slim floor lamp that doubles as a display niche: an open aluminum frame with a wood interior, 1,800 lumens, and an in-line floor dimmer on a 9-foot cord.

We curate lighting for rooms where floor space is tight and a lamp has to do more than glow. Contour is an open extruded-aluminum frame, lit by 60 LEDs in a glare-free array, with a wood interior that holds books and small objects. It stands in a corner or beside a sofa and gives a full 1,800 lumens of room light.

Best for / where to use it

• Living rooms: beside a sofa or in a corner, with books on the interior surface.
• Home offices: a slim lamp that gives general light without a desk footprint.
• Bedrooms: a tall, narrow lamp that fits beside a dresser.
• Hotel suites and lounges: plug-in light with a sculptural form and a storage niche.
• Boutiques and galleries: a display niche that is also a light source.

Installation & planning

• Plug-in only; assemble and stand it on a flat, level floor.
• Keep the 9 ft (274 cm) cord within reach of an outlet and the in-line floor dimmer within reach of your foot or hand.
• Keep only light items on the interior surface; Pablo does not publish a load rating.
• Use the multi-plug adapter option if you are installing outside North America.
• Leave a few inches of clearance so the frame is not crowded by drapes.

Who this is not for

• Anyone who wants warm-dim: the color temperature is fixed at 3000K.
• Heavy storage: the interior is for books and small objects.
• Damp or exterior locations: Pablo publishes no damp or wet rating.

Why we carry it / Trade & project orders

Modern Design Center has curated lighting since 2009 and is an authorized Pablo Designs retailer. We carry Contour because a slim lamp that also holds objects solves two space problems at once. Designers, architects and hospitality buyers can join our trade program; we quote multi-unit and project orders, and Pablo considers custom requests on volume orders.
