Why we carry it
We’ve been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Original BTC is one of the few lighting brands that still makes its own pieces in Britain. The metalwork comes from Original BTC’s own metal works, a Birmingham workshop that joined the company in 2011 and now works in Oxfordshire, spinning, soldering and shaping brass, copper and aluminium with traditional techniques.
Buy once: durability and care
Our advice: switch off, then wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it. Avoid solvents and abrasives on painted, polished or plated metal.
