We've been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and the Pasadena is the kind of table lamp we reach for when a room needs warmth without bulk. A tapered dark walnut column rises from a round weathered brass base, topped with your choice of three white shades: a classic 18-inch linen drum, the two-tier Coronado, or the pleated Scallop.

Anyone who needs a dimmer, since this lamp switches on and off only. It's also not for anyone who wants a metal or painted column: the column is real wood, and grain and tone vary from lamp to lamp.

Our advice, since Nova doesn't publish care steps: dust the walnut with a dry, soft cloth, wipe the brass with a slightly damp cloth, and lint-roll the linen shade.
