A slim LED surface mount that installs on a ceiling junction box: no can, no attic work.

The Nora Lighting NLOPAC-Rx509 is an AC Opal LED Surface Mount. The AC Opal LED Series LED fixture is designed to surface mount over a standard junction box. The low profile dimmable luminaire produces even illumination and is cULus listed for wet locations.

What you need to buy

Mounts directly to a standard ceiling junction box with its own driver built in, so there is no can to install. Its thin profile fits where recessed lights cannot (joists, ducts, concrete or shallow ceilings). Check the spec sheet for the junction box sizes it fits.

Replacing an old recessed light? Nora retrofit kits let many disk lights install in an existing 4", 5" or 6" can instead (listed below where Nora makes one for this model).

Yes. It is wet-location listed, so showers and covered outdoor ceilings are fine.

Which color temperature should I choose?

3000K is warm for hospitality and homes; 3500K is neutral for offices; 4000K is crisp for workspaces and schools; 5000K is daylight for warehouses and garages (our guide).

What dimming does the NLOPAC-Rx509 support?

Nora lists Triac or ELV. Use a compatible dimmer or control system.
