The Maxim Tanker is a 52 in, 3-blade AC ceiling fan for a living room, a primary bedroom or a family room up to about 18 x 18 ft, in Black, Satin Nickel or Matte White.
Airflow tops out at 4,565 CFM (89 CFM/W, roughly 29W draw). 3 speed settings; flip the direction in cold months to recirculate heated air off the ceiling. A wall control is in the box. Order a light version for rooms that need overhead light, or the fan-only version where lighting is already handled. Order it on a downrod or as a flush hugger. Damp-location listed: a covered porch, a bath or a sunroom works, but keep it out of driving rain. The finish fits Transitional spaces.

Where it works best
Size it to the room: up to 75 sq ft takes a fan of 36 in or less; 76 to 144 sq ft, 36 to 44 in; 144 to 225 sq ft, 50 to 54 in; 225 to 400 sq ft, 56 to 72 in; a larger space takes a bigger fan or two. Keep the blades at least 7 ft above the floor, ideally 8 to 9 ft, and at least 18 in from walls. On a ceiling taller than 9 ft, add a downrod of about 6 in for each extra foot of height.
Who this is not for
It is damp rated, so it is not for a spot exposed to rain. On a ceiling under 8 ft, order the hugger version, not the downrod one.
