The Maxim Slim Fire flush mount is a transitional fixture sized for a hallway, a bedroom, a closet, a kitchen or a laundry room. It comes in widths from 5.25 to 7.5 in, with built-in LED, in White.
The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace, and it delivers 1000 lumens with a color temperature you set at install. Maxim rates it for ELV& TRIAC DIMMING dimming. White glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. The White finish fits Transitional schemes.

Where it works best
A flush mount sits tight to the ceiling, so it suits ceilings of 8 ft and lower, where a hanging fixture would cut into headroom. For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter (a 10 x 12 ft bedroom takes about a 22 in fixture).
