The Maxim Quarry White semi-flush mount is a transitional fixture sized for a bedroom, a dining area, an entry or a hallway. It comes at 15 in (38.1 cm) wide, with built-in LED, in Natural Aged Brass.
The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace, and it delivers 1220 lumens at 3000K. Maxim rates it for Triac CL dimming. White Alabaster softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. The Natural Aged Brass finish fits Transitional schemes.

Where it works best
A semi-flush mount hangs a few inches below the ceiling, so light spreads across the ceiling as well as down. It works best on ceilings of 8 to 9 ft; keep at least 7 ft of clearance below it in a walkway. For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter (a 10 x 12 ft room takes about a 22 in fixture).
Who this is not for
It is damp rated, so a covered porch or bathroom is fine, but not a spot exposed to rain.
Why we carry Maxim
We carry Maxim because the line covers traditional, transitional and modern schemes with consistent finishes across chandeliers, pendants, sconces and vanity lights, so one family can light a whole floor.
Care and installation
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean glass with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner, with the power off. A qualified electrician should make the connection. Assembly sheet: 18202 (PDF).
Frequently asked questions
What size room is the Quarry White semi-flush mount right for?
The 15 in size suits a room of about 8 x 6 ft, a hallway or a closet.
Will it work with a low ceiling?
Yes. It is 4.5 in (11.4 cm) tall at most, so on an 8 ft ceiling it leaves about 91.5 in of clearance below.
Does it need special bulbs, and can it dim?
No bulbs needed; the LED is built in. It dims with triac cl dimmers.
Can I use it in a bathroom or on a porch?
Yes, in a bathroom away from direct spray or on a covered porch. It is damp rated.
