The Maxim Moda outdoor wall light is a modern fixture for an entry door, a garage front, a patio wall or a side gate. It is 12 in (30.5 cm) tall and 7 in (17.8 cm) wide, reaching 2.25 in from the wall, with built-in LED, in Bronze or Stainless Steel.
Built-in LED, so nothing to relamp; output is 600 lumens at 3000K. A wet-location listing means rain and sprinkler spray will not harm it. Bubble Glass softens the light and hides the bulb from the street. Choose Bronze or Stainless Steel to match the house numbers, door hardware or gutters; it suits Modern and Contemporary exteriors.

Where it works best
Scale guide for an 80 in entry door: a lone lantern should measure 20 to 27 in, or 25 to 33 percent of the door height; two flanking the door can drop to 16 to 22 in each. Put the fixture's center roughly 66 in over the threshold, a touch higher than eye level. For a garage front, use one centered between bays or a pair per door at 6 to 7 ft.
Who this is not for
It is a hardwired fixture, so it needs an outdoor-rated junction box; it does not plug in.
Why we carry Maxim
Maxim matches its finishes across collections, so a chandelier, its pendants and its sconces read as one scheme. That is how we build a room around one fixture.
Care and installation
Rinse off salt, pollen and cobwebs a few times a year and wipe with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners on the finish. Have a licensed electrician wire it. Assembly sheet: 88272 (PDF).
Frequently asked questions
Which Moda size is right for my entry?
A lone lantern at an 80 in door should measure 20 to 27 in; a flanking pair, 16 to 22 in each. At 12 in, it fits a side door, a gate or a narrow entry.
What mounting height works at the door?
Center it roughly 66 in (168 cm) over the threshold; on a garage front, 6 to 7 ft up.
Is it safe in rain?
Yes. Its wet-location listing covers walls and posts open to the weather.
Which bulbs fit, and will it dim?
None; the LED is part of the fixture. It dims with Triac CL dimmers.
