The Maxim Mod wall sconce is a transitional fixture for a hallway, a stairway, a living room wall or either side of a bed. It is 5 in (12.7 cm) wide and 6.75 in (17.1 cm) high and sits 7.75 in (19.7 cm) off the wall, with built-in LED, in Satin Nickel.
The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to replace, and it gives 580 lumens at 3000K. Maxim rates it for Triac CL dimming. Clear and Frosted glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. The Satin Nickel finish fits Transitional and Modern schemes.

Where it works best
In a hallway or living room, center each sconce at roughly eye level, about 5 ft 6 in (168 cm) up, with 8 to 10 ft between fixtures. Next to a bed, place it 2 to 2.5 ft over the mattress top so the light falls on a book. On a stairway, keep each sconce the same height above the treads. Either side of a bathroom mirror, mount them at about eye level, 36 to 40 in apart, for even light on the face.
Who this is not for
It projects 7.75 in, beyond the 4 in ADA limit, so it is not for a commercial corridor or a narrow public hall. It is damp rated, so a bathroom or covered porch is fine, but not a spot exposed to rain or shower spray.
