The Maxim Elegante semi-flush mount is a traditional fixture sized for a bedroom, a dining area, an entry or a hallway. It comes at 16.5 in (41.9 cm) wide, with 3 lights, in Etruscan Gold or Oil Rubbed Bronze.
Each socket takes an E26 Medium bulb up to 60W. A 2700K to 3000K LED bulb keeps a bedroom or hallway warm; 3500K to 4000K suits a kitchen, laundry room or closet. Frosted Ivory glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. Choose Etruscan Gold or Oil Rubbed Bronze to match hardware, faucets or cabinet pulls in the room; it suits Traditional, Glam and Rustic schemes.

Where it works best
A semi-flush mount hangs a few inches below the ceiling, so light spreads across the ceiling as well as down. It works best on ceilings of 8 to 9 ft; keep at least 7 ft of clearance below it in a walkway. For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter (a 10 x 12 ft room takes about a 22 in fixture).
Who this is not for
It is dry rated, so it is not for a shower area, an uncovered porch or other damp spots. Bulbs are sold separately.
Why we carry Maxim
We carry Maxim because the line covers traditional, transitional and modern schemes with consistent finishes across chandeliers, pendants, sconces and vanity lights, so one family can light a whole floor.
Care and installation
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean glass with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner, with the power off. A qualified electrician should make the connection. Assembly sheet: 2859 (PDF).
