Why we carry it

We’ve been curating design-led pieces since 2009, and Maison Deux is one of the few textile brands that makes pattern feel joyful without tipping into novelty. The materials are honest, the certifications are real, and the designs hold up long after the trend cycle moves on. We source it through the brand’s US distributor, and the facts on this page come from Maison Deux and its distributor.

Why it is worth the investment

Maison Deux is a Dutch textile brand founded by Pia and Woes Weinberg and launched at colette during Paris Design Week in 2016. Pia, the co-founder and head of design, draws on everyday life, contemporary art, architecture and graphic design to make pieces that feel playful and stay timeless. This cover is jacquard-woven from 100% new zealand wool and Woolmark®, OEKO-TEX® and Wool Integrity NZ™ certified. Because it is a cover, you can refresh a sofa or bed for a fraction of the cost of new furniture and swap it again with the seasons.

Buy once: durability and care

Hand wash at room temperature or dry clean. No bleach and no tumble dryer; iron at medium. Between cleans, simply air it outside: wool naturally repels dirt and odours.
