Laurentis 64" Light Taupe Suede and Wood 6-Drawer Dresser by TOV Furniture

A 6-drawer dresser from TOV Furniture, delivered fully assembled.

The Laurentis 64" Light Taupe Suede and Wood 6-Drawer Dresser is a 6-drawer dresser made of ash, ash veneer and MDF with a suede and wood finish in Natural. Ash shows a straight, even wood grain and the wood construction adds warmth and grain. It measures 64"W x 19"D x 31.1"H, and TOV rates it for 365 lb on the top. At 31.1" it is standard dresser height (most dressers run 30–36"), so the top works as a vanity or a TV surface and leaves room for a mirror above it (our guide), and at 64" wide it suits the wall of a queen or king bedroom (our guide). Per TOV: top drawer lined with felt to protect your essentials. Matching pieces: we also carry the TOV Laurentis 23.5" Light Taupe Suede and Wood 3-Drawer Nightstand.

Specifications

• Brand: TOV Furniture
• Collection: Laurentis
• Type: 6-drawer dresser
• Top & finish: Suede and wood
• Materials: Ash, ash veneer, MDF
• Dimensions: 64"W x 19"D x 31.1"H
• Top size: 64"W x 19"D
• Height: 31.1" high: standard dresser height (most dressers run 30–36"), so the top works as a vanity or a TV surface and leaves room for a mirror above it (our guide)
• Wall & bed fit: At 64" wide it takes about 64" of wall, plus 3–6" either side so it does not crowd a door, window or nightstand. Our guide: a dresser facing the bed looks balanced at about two-thirds to the full width of the bed (full 54", queen 60", king 76"), so this one suits a queen or king bed
• Depth & drawer clearance: At 19" deep (most dressers and chests run 16–20"), with drawers about 12.8" deep inside (TOV), keep about 36" clear in front so the drawers open fully and you can stand at them (30" at the very least), so plan about 55" from the wall to the bed or the next piece (our guide)
• Above it: Mirror: about two-thirds to the full width of the top (about 43–64" wide), hung with its bottom edge 4–8" above the top; TV: choose a screen narrower than the dresser and anchor both the dresser and the TV (our guide); TOV rates the top for 365 lb
• Drawers: 6 drawers, soft-close; felt-lined top drawer; inside Top Drawer: 29.3"W x 12.8"D x 3.9"H; Bottom/Middle Drawer: 29.3"W x 12.8"D x 6.3"H (TOV)
• Clearance underneath: Sits low on short legs or a plinth (1.3", TOV leg height), so dust and toys stay out from under it
• Anti-tip: TOV does not list anti-tip hardware for this piece; anchor it to a wall stud with a furniture tip-restraint kit (sold at hardware stores) before you fill the drawers, especially with children in the home (our advice)
• Matching pieces: From the same TOV Laurentis collection we also carry the Laurentis 23.5" Light Taupe Suede and Wood 3-Drawer Nightstand

Best for

Best for bedrooms, on the wall facing the bed or beside it, as a vanity or a TV surface. Keep about 36" clear in front to open the drawers, hang a mirror about two-thirds to the full width of the top with its bottom edge 4–8" above it, and anchor it to a wall stud before you fill the drawers (our guide).

Who this is not for

• Tight spots: it needs about 55" from the wall to the bed or the next piece so the drawers open fully and you can stand at them (our guide; 49" at the very least).
• Walls narrower than about 70": at 64" wide it needs a few inches either side to look intentional (our guide).
• Anyone who cannot anchor it to a wall: with children or pets in the home, every dresser and chest should be anchored (our advice).
• Homes with tight stair turns or small elevators: it travels by freight (LTL) in a box measuring 68.8"W x 23.8"D x 36.8"H.
• Anyone who needs it within days: it is currently on pre-order.
• Outdoor use: this is indoor bedroom furniture; keep it inside, away from rain, damp and strong sun.

Why we carry it

We've been curating design-led furniture since 2009, and TOV Furniture earns its place with dressers and chests that pair real drawer space (soft-close glides, lined top drawers) with handmade finishes like burl, cane, raffia, shagreen and solid wood. We are an authorized TOV seller, and every option listed here carries TOV's own item number and UPC, so you can check exactly what you are buying.

Buy once: durability and care

Built with soft-close drawer glides (per TOV). Our advice (TOV publishes only general care for this item): dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills promptly and dry right away, use coasters under drinks, vases and plants, and keep it out of strong direct sun; wood finishes can vary and mellow with light.
