Frequently asked questions

How bright is the Koncept Gravy, and what color is the light?

Koncept rates it at 320 to 324 lumens (up to 92 footcandles on the work surface). Color temperature: 2,700 K / 2700K. Color rendering 94/83/84/85/86/87/90 CRI, so colors look true.

Plug-in or hardwire: which Gravy Wall Sconce do I need?

Plug-in mounts with screws and plugs into an outlet (no electrician, cord visible). Hardwire connects to a junction box and hides the cord. Koncept notes the hardwire version should not be put on a wall dimmer, because it has its own touch dimmer.

Has the Koncept Gravy won design awards?

Yes. According to Koncept, it received the Spark Award Gold 2015 and iF Design Award 2016.

What warranty comes with the Koncept Gravy?

Koncept gives a 5-year limited warranty (1 year on the hardwire LED driver). We sell it new as an authorized dealer and help with any claim.

Best for

Bedside reading, sofas, hallways and offices where a small, swiveling wall light saves table space.

Who this is not for

• Anyone who wants to control it from a wall dimmer: the hardwire version has its own touch dimmer and Koncept warns a wall dimmer can conflict with it (choose plug-in if you rent).

Why we carry it

We have curated design-led lighting since 2009 and are an authorized Koncept dealer. Koncept designs its LED lights in California and is known for award-winning task lighting used in offices, libraries and homes. We list every Gravy option from Koncept's 2026 price list with its exact item number, spec sheet and live stock status.

Care

Our advice: switch off, then dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners on painted aluminum; lint-roll or lightly vacuum felt plates. The integrated LEDs never need bulb changes. Koncept does not publish separate care instructions.
