The Gevra 54" Black Acacia & Faux Plaster Round Dining Table is a round dining table made of acacia veneer, concrete and MDF finished to look like acacia & plaster. Cast concrete gives it real heft and a stone-like surface and the faux plaster finish has a soft, chalky, hand-troweled look. It measures 54"W x 54"D x 30.5"H with a round top, and TOV rates the top for up to 165 lb. At 30.5" it is a touch above standard dining height (28–30"), so it pairs with dining chairs whose seat is about 18.5–20.5" high (our guide: 10–12" between seat and tabletop; most dining chairs sit 17–19"). Best for dining rooms and open-plan kitchens. Leave about 36" between the table edge and the wall on every side (42–48" where people walk behind seated diners), plan about 24" of table edge per person, and hang a pendant 30–36" above the top (our guide). A round dining table has no corners, so everyone can see and talk to everyone, and it fits a square room, a breakfast nook or the space under a round pendant (our guide).
