The ET2 Unity is a sculptural linear pendant in two lengths, a 5-light (55 in) for a dining table or island and a 6-light (69 in) for a long table, a stair hall or a hotel lobby. Both use a built-in 3000K LED at 90 CRI or better, and both come in Black Chrome or Brushed Champagne.

Stainless steel forms intersect in an abstract shape, so the fixture works as art even when it is off. The 5-light is 55 in wide and 12 in tall with a 120 in cord and 2,800 lumens. The 6-light is 69 in long and 15.25 in tall with a 118 in cord and 3,200 lumens. Overall heights range from 14.75 up to 131.75 in on the 5-light and from 19.25 up to 122 in on the 6-light, so you can fit double height rooms. Black Chrome suits Modern and Industrial interiors, and Brushed Champagne warms Transitional and Contemporary rooms with brass or champagne bronze.

Where it works best

Center it above a rectangular dining table or a long island, and keep the ends within a few inches of the table edge. Who this is not for

Unity is for dry locations only, so avoid bathrooms with showers, covered patios and any damp space. The light source is built in, so you cannot swap it for another bulb. The 5-light weighs 19.8 lb and the 6-light weighs 15.62 lb, so confirm the ceiling box supports the load.

Which size suits my dining table?

The 5-light at 55 in suits tables about 60 to 84 in long, and the 6-light at 69 in suits tables from 84 in up. Leave at least 6 in of space beyond the fixture on each end of the table.

How low should I hang the Unity?

About 30 to 36 in above the table to the bottom of the fixture is typical. With cords of 118 to 120 in, you can trim the drop to fit 8 ft or taller ceilings.

Is it dimmable?

Depending on the model it dims on Triac or ELV, and the 5-light version also supports 0-10V. Confirm the dimmer with your electrician before ordering.

Can I use it in a commercial space?

A 120-277V version is part of the line, and it works in lobbies, restaurants and offices. Check the voltage on the model you order against the building supply.

Is it too heavy for the ceiling?

The 5-light weighs 19.8 lb and the 6-light 15.62 lb. A standard box may not be enough, so have your electrician confirm support.

Can it be used outdoors?

No, because the rating is Dry. Keep it in indoor dry rooms such as a dining room, an entry or a lobby, away from direct moisture.
