Scion LED Slim Vertical Wall Sconce, 2 Light, 25 in, Black or Weathered Brass, by ET2

The ET2 Scion is a slim vertical wall sconce, 25 in tall with two integrated LED lights, in Black or Weathered Brass. It gives 400 lumens at 3000K and 90 CRI, dims with Triac, ELV or 0-10V across 120-277V, and is damp rated for halls, baths and covered walls.

The vertical form stretches a short wall and works well next to doors, mirrors and tall windows. It sits on a 5 in square backplate, projects 6.5 in and weighs 2 lb, so it mounts easily. The acrylic diffuses the LED, keeping brightness comfortable at eye level. Black reads sharp in Modern and Industrial schemes against white or concrete, while Weathered Brass has an aged tone that warms Transitional and Mid-Century rooms.

Where it works best

Use Scion in pairs beside a bed, a mirror or a front door, where a tall slim shape suits narrow wall strips. Along a corridor, repeat it at even spacing to mark the path. Match the finish to cabinet pulls or window frames for a consistent look. The slim shape also suits a tall window niche or a stair wall.

Who this is not for

Scion is damp rated, so keep it under cover and out of rain. The 6.5 in projection is noticeable in tight corridors, and it is not ADA listed. The LED is integrated and not replaceable, with a rated life of 30,000 hours.

Why we carry ET2

Scion is a tall, narrow sconce with full-range dimming and 120-277V input. That makes it a flexible pick for both homes and commercial corridors.

Care and installation

Dust with a dry cloth and wipe the acrylic with a mild soapy cloth, avoiding solvents. Scion is best installed by a licensed electrician, per the maker. Assembly sheet: E25411 (PDF).

Frequently asked questions

How high should Scion be mounted?

Set the center at about 60 to 66 in above the floor, which puts the lower light near chest height. In a hallway, keep the base above 48 in. That keeps it clear of furniture and doors.

Is Scion dimmable?

Yes, with Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimming across 120-277V. Choose a dimmer that matches your control system and is rated for LED loads.

Can Scion go in a bathroom?

Yes, it is damp rated, so a bathroom wall away from direct spray works well. It should not be exposed to rain or open outdoor weather.

How bright is Scion?

It produces 400 lumens at 3000K with 90 CRI from two lights and draws 5 watts. That suits accent and ambient lighting.

How far does Scion stick out?

The projection is 6.5 in from a 5 in square backplate. Check the clearance next to doors and narrow stairs before you fix the position.

Can I use two Scions on one wall?

Yes, a pair works well on either side of a mirror or a bed. Keep them level and equally spaced so the vertical lines read as a set.
