Pulse LED Ridged Acrylic Globe Pendant, 4.75 in, Damp Rated, Polished Chrome, by ET2

The ET2 Pulse LED Ridged Acrylic Globe Pendant is a 4.75 in Clear acrylic globe with ridges that run along an aluminum extrusion in Polished Chrome. It is rated for damp locations, gives 420 lumens of 3000K LED, and dims on 3-in-1 controls with 120-277V input.

Two halves of ridged acrylic meet at the extrusion and glow from the integrated LED inside, so the ridges look like a pulse of light. The fixture is a compact 4.75 in cube, hangs on a 118 in cord with a 4.75 in canopy, and adjusts from 10.5 to 128.5 in overall. Because it is damp rated, it can go in a covered bath, a shower-adjacent vanity area with a vent fan, or a sheltered entry. Chrome suits Modern and Contemporary rooms.

Where it works best

Hang a pair on either side of a vanity mirror, or a row over a bar or a narrow console. A single one can mark a bedside or a hallway turn. Use several at different heights beside a bath tub for a layered effect, keeping each one out of direct water spray, and wired on a circuit with proper bath protection.

Who this is not for

Pulse is rated for damp locations, which means covered and humid areas, but not direct rain or spray. At 420 lumens, it adds ambient and accent light, so use a mirror or task light for grooming. The LED cannot be replaced, and the rated life is 50000 hours.

Why we carry ET2

We stock Pulse because the damp rating opens up bathrooms and covered spaces to a compact glass-like globe. The 120-277V input also suits hospitality baths.

Care and installation

Wipe the acrylic with a soft damp cloth and a mild soap, and avoid solvents, which can cloud it. Electrical work should be left to a qualified electrician, according to ET2. Assembly sheet: E24691 (PDF).

Frequently asked questions

Can the Pulse go in a bathroom?

Yes. It is rated for damp locations, so it suits a bathroom with a vent fan. Do not place it where it will get direct water spray.

Can Pulse be used outdoors?

Only under cover. A damp rating covers covered patios and entries, but not exposed locations with direct rain, so keep it under a roof.

How bright is it?

It gives 420 lumens at 3000K with 90 CRI. That is enough for ambient light in a small bath, and a mirror light can cover grooming.

How should I hang a pair by a mirror?

Set the globes at eye level on both sides of the mirror, about 30 to 36 in apart. The overall height adjusts from 10.5 to 128.5 in.

Does it dim?

Yes. It has 3-in-1 dimming for Triac, ELV or 0-10V, so most wall controls work. Match the dimmer type to the driver and test it at the low end.

Can I use it in a hotel?

Yes. The 120-277V input and the damp rating suit hotel baths and covered corridors, and the 50000-hour life limits service visits.
