The ET2 Moeraki Boulder Pendant is a lightweight, oversized shade in an off-white Oyster finish that suits dining tables, bedrooms and entries. It comes in 16, 20 or 24 in with an E26 LED bulb included and Triac or ELV dimming.

The shade is molded polyurethane over a steel frame, so a 24 in piece hangs without the load of stone or glass. The surface has a fine salt-like texture, and the shade diffuses a G25 3000K LED with 90 CRI into a soft, even glow. The bulb is replaceable, a real advantage over integrated fixtures. The canopy is 4.75 in and the 120 in cord can be cut to length, with overall heights from 12 to 137 in. Which Moeraki size should I choose for a dining table?

For a table up to 48 in wide, the 20 or 24 in shade is a good match. For a longer table, hang two 20 in shades about 30 in apart. Keep the bottom of the shade about 30 to 36 in above the table.

What bulb does the Moeraki use?

It uses an E26 medium base G25 LED rated 6 W, 400 lumens and 3000K, and the bulb is included. Because the bulb is replaceable, you can swap it later without changing the fixture. Keep to the same wattage ceiling for the best result.

How heavy is the shade and does it need special support?

The polyurethane shade is light compared with glass or stone, so a standard ceiling box usually works. Confirm the box is rated for fixture weight with your electrician. The steel frame is concealed inside the shade.
