The ET2 Mobius LED Loop Pendant is a single large knot of etched acrylic tube that lights a dining table, a living room seating group or a hotel lobby on its own. It measures 32 x 27 x 29 in and puts out 3,220 lumens of dimmable 3000K light.

An omnidirectional LED strip runs inside the hand-formed acrylic tube, so the whole loop glows evenly and there are no hot spots to look at from a seated position. The tube is held by a steel and aluminum frame, and the two-tone Black and Gold canopy is 8 in wide. The cord is 118 in, and overall height adjusts from 37.5 to 73.75 in, so it suits ceilings from about 9 to 12 ft once you allow for clearance below. Mobius works best as the single sculptural fixture over a round or oval dining table, a coffee table group or a reception desk. Because it gives 3,220 lumens by itself, keep the other fixtures quiet, such as recessed downlights on a separate dimmer or simple wall sconces. In hospitality and retail it suits a lobby, bar or boutique where a form with some personality is useful.

Who this is not for

This pendant is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms and outdoor spaces. It is a fixed single size at 32 in wide, which is too large for a small table or a low ceiling. The LED is integrated and not replaceable, so plan around the 40,000 hour rated life. It dims on ELV, so check your dimmer first.

Keep the bottom of the loop about 30 to 36 in above the tabletop. The overall height adjusts between 37.5 and 73.75 in, so the fixture sits comfortably in rooms with ceilings of about 9 ft or more. Check sight lines from seated height before fixing the length.

What size table suits a 32 in loop?

A table at least 48 in across, or about 60 in long, gives the loop enough room without crowding the edges. Keep at least 12 in between the edge of the fixture and the edge of the table. For a long table, hang one loop above the center and keep the rest of the lighting simple.

How bright is it and can I dim it?
