These ET2 LED replacement bulbs cover three bases: G9 at 120V, G4 at 12V and E26 medium, in color temperatures from 2200K to 4000K. They let you re-lamp ET2 fixtures with socketed bulbs, or upgrade a sconce, a chandelier or a lantern to a warm or neutral LED, with Triac dimming and a rated life of 25,000 hours.
G9 options run from 2W at 220 lumens to 4W at 400 lumens, with a 4W CRI 90 version in 3000K or 4000K and a 4W frosted version at 320 lumens. The G4 is 1.8W at 12V and 200 lumens. The E26 bulbs are 2200K clear shapes: ST64, D40 and G40 at 3.5W and 150 lumens, and a BT56 at 5W and 350 lumens. Choose by base first, then by color temperature. The 2200K E26 bulbs give an amber glow suited to exposed-bulb fixtures. Check the shape against the shade before ordering.

Which size for which room
- G9 bulbs: Choose 2W, 3W or 4W in 3000K, with 4W available in 4000K at CRI 90 and in frosted form. Lumens range from 220 to 400, so choose by brightness and shade style.
- G4 12V bulb: The 1.8W G4 produces 200 lumens at 3000K and CRI 80, and it works on 12V only. Use it in low voltage fixtures with a G4 socket.
- E26 bulbs: The ST64, D40 and G40 are 3.5W at 150 lumens and 2200K, and the BT56 is 5W at 350 lumens. They suit exposed-bulb pendants and wall lanterns.
Where it works best
Use the G9 bulbs for sconces, pendants and chandeliers that take that small capsule. Use the G4 where a 12V fixture needs a replacement. The E26 clear bulbs suit exposed-bulb pendants, wall lanterns and bistro-style fixtures where the bulb is part of the look. Match all bulbs in one fixture so the color is consistent.
Who this is not for
Match the base, voltage and shape before ordering, since a G9 will not fit a G4 socket and a 12V bulb needs a 12V supply. Bulbs are rated for dimming with Triac dimmers, so other dimmer types can flicker. The BT56 is rated at 15,000 hours rather than 25,000. Bulb location ratings are not listed here, so check whether your fixture is enclosed or exposed.
Why we carry ET2
We stock replacement bulbs so a customer can keep an ET2 fixture running without a long search. The mix of bases and color temperatures also helps a designer tune the warmth of a scheme.
Care and installation
Switch off the power and let the bulb cool before changing it. Wipe the glass with a dry cloth and have a qualified electrician help with any fixture wiring, as ET2 recommends.
Frequently asked questions
Which bulb base do I need?
Check the socket in your fixture. G9 is a small two-pin capsule at 120V, G4 is a small two-pin bulb at 12V, and E26 is the standard medium screw base.
Which bulbs are the warmest?
The E26 bulbs are 2200K, which is the warmest, giving an amber glow. The G9 and G4 options are 3000K, and one G9 is available in 4000K.
Are these bulbs dimmable?
Yes, they are rated for Triac dimming. Use a trailing-edge or LED-compatible dimmer and test the low end before you finalize the level.
How long do they last?
The rated life is 25,000 hours, and 15,000 hours for the BT56. At 4 hours a day, 25,000 hours is over 17 years.
How bright are they?
They range from 150 lumens for the E26 shapes to 400 lumens for the 4W G9. Pick based on the shade and the room.
Can I use the G4 bulb in a 120V fixture?
No. The G4 bulb is 12V, so use it only in a low voltage fixture with a suitable transformer or driver. A 120V line will damage it.
