The ET2 Hoops pendant gathers several Polished Chrome rings into one 31.5 in canopy, which makes a bold centerpiece for a dining table, a double-height entry, a stair hall or a hotel lobby. It delivers 4,561 lumens of 3000K LED and dims on Triac CL, so one fixture can carry a whole room.

Continuous LED strips run along the inside of each ring and face the center, so the light bounces indirectly and the glow stays comfortable at eye level. Where it works best

Hang it over a round or square dining table, or let it float in a stairwell where it is seen from several levels. In a hotel lobby or restaurant entry, one large Hoops fixture can define the arrival point. Pair it with recessed downlights for task needs, because the indirect light is ambient and not aimed.

Who this is not for

Hoops is for dry locations only, so keep it away from showers, steam and covered outdoor areas. The LED strips are built in, which means the fixture is replaced or serviced as a unit instead of by changing bulbs. At 15 lb and 20 in wide it needs a solid ceiling box and enough clear space around it.

How far above a dining table should the Hoops hang?

Plan on 30 to 36 in from the tabletop to the bottom ring. With an overall height from 23 to 143 in, the drop can be set to suit a standard 8 ft ceiling or a tall room.

Is the light direct or indirect?

The LED strips face inward toward the center of each ring, so the light is indirect and soft. That keeps glare low when you are seated under the fixture.

Does it dim?

It dims on Triac CL dimmers. Use a dimmer rated for the 65 watt LED load and test the low end before the ceiling is finished.

Is 4,561 lumens enough for a dining room?

It is plenty for a dining table and lifts the surrounding space too. A dimmer lets you drop to a calm dinner level.

Can I use it in a stairwell?

It works well in a stairwell, hung where the drop clears the railings by a comfortable margin. Check the 20 in width against the stair opening.

Can it be installed in a covered patio?

No, it is a Dry rated fixture, so keep it indoors. Covered patios can still see humidity swings that the finish and LED are not rated for.
