The ET2 Fizz IV is a bubble glass pendant in a 1-light mini for a bar, a bedside or an entry, and a 5-light linear for a dining table, a console or a reception desk. The built-in LED is 3000K and dims on Triac CL, and the maker notes about 30% more output than the earlier Fizz II.

Glass blocks with trapped bubbles are held by Polished Chrome fittings, so the light catches the bubbles and glows from within. The 1-light is 6 in square and 12.5 in tall at 238 lumens and 2.2 lb. The 5-light is 39 in long and 12 in tall at 1,180 lumens and 15.4 lb, with a 37.8 in canopy. Both hang on a 120 in cord, with overall heights from 14 in up to 132 and 134 in. Who this is not for

Fizz IV is rated Dry, so keep it out of showers and covered outdoor areas. The LED is part of the fixture, so there is no bulb to change. Single units give accent light only, with 238 lumens each, so plan on grouping.

Frequently asked questions

How wide is the 5-light and what table does it suit?

The 5-light measures 39 in long, so it suits a table or island about 48 to 60 in in length. For longer surfaces, hang two fixtures with a few inches between them.

How many 1-lights do I need over a bar?

For a bar 6 ft long, three to four fixtures spaced 12 to 18 in apart look balanced. Vary the heights slightly for a casual look.

Does it dim?

It dims on Triac CL dimmers. Use a dimmer rated for low-wattage LED loads so the bubble glass stays even and flicker free at low levels.

How high should I hang it?

About 30 to 36 in above a table or counter to the bottom of the glass. The overall height starts at 14 in and reaches 134 in.

What is new about the Fizz IV?

The maker says it uses a ceramic base LED from LG with about 30% greater light output than the Fizz II. It also gains dimming.

Can it go in a bathroom?
