Entanglement LED Wire and Crystal Box Pendant, 27.5 in Square, Black, by ET2

The ET2 Entanglement is a 27.5 in square box pendant that holds a web of wire and crystal inside a black steel frame, with the light source above so the crystal glows over a dining table, kitchen island or entry. It delivers 1800 lumens from integrated 90 CRI LED and can be hung anywhere from 15 to 134.5 in overall.

The light panel sits above the crystal network, so the beam passes down through the facets and the area below is lit without a bare source in view. The black steel box keeps the busy crystal pattern organized, which suits Modern, Transitional and Contemporary rooms. A 120 in cord and a 23.5 in canopy let the installer set the drop on site for a low dining table or a tall entry. It runs on 120 to 277V and accepts Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimming, so the same fixture works in a house or on a commercial circuit.

Where it works best

Use it centered over a dining table or a kitchen island, where the crystal can be seen from every seat. In an entry or lobby it works as a single focal point under a high ceiling. Pair it with dark bronze or black hardware and warm wood to keep the crystal from reading cold.

Who this is not for

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms, covered porches and any damp space. The LED is permanently built in, so plan around the 50,000 hour rated life. At 29 lb it needs a ceiling box and framing rated for the load.

Why we carry ET2

Entanglement gives a project a crystal statement piece that still lights a room properly. The selectable 3000K, 3500K and 4000K color temperatures mean one fixture can match a warm home or a cooler commercial scheme.

Care and installation

Dust the crystal and wire with a dry microfiber cloth and clean the facets with a lightly damp one, drying them right away. Leave wiring and hanging to a qualified electrician, as ET2 advises. Assembly sheet: E21254 (PDF).

Frequently asked questions

How high should I hang the Entanglement over a dining table?

Aim for roughly 30 to 36 in between the tabletop and the bottom of the frame. The box is 12.75 in tall on a 120 in cord, so overall height can be set anywhere from 15 to 134.5 in.

What size table suits a 27.5 in square pendant?

It suits a table or island section about 40 to 48 in wide. A good rule is to choose a fixture at least 12 in narrower than the table so nothing overhangs a seat.

Which dimmers work with the Entanglement?

It is rated for 3-in-1 dimming: Triac, ELV or 0-10V, across 120 to 277V. Test the dimmer with the fixture before the wall plate goes on, and use a 0-10V control for commercial circuits.

Can I change the color temperature?

The fixture is listed with 30, 35 and 40 settings, meaning 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. With 90 CRI, wood, fabric and skin tones stay accurate at any of them.

Can it go in a bathroom or on a covered porch?

No. The Entanglement is rated for dry locations only, so it belongs in indoor rooms away from moisture and condensation.

Is it suitable for restaurants, hotels or offices?

Yes, in dry interior areas. The 120 to 277V input, 0-10V dimming option and cETLus listing suit reception desks, hotel entries and bar tops, provided the ceiling can carry its 29 lb.
