Dewdrop LED Glass Drop Pendant, 3 or 15 Lights, Black or Chrome, by ET2

The ET2 Dewdrop hangs drops of blown glass on slim cords, with a recessed LED in each, as a compact 3-light and as a 15-light made for stair voids and tall entries. Output is 960 and 4200 lumens at 3000K and 90 CRI, and the 120 to 277V input suits homes and projects.

Each drop has a thick glass base that carries the light down its length, so the glass glows without a bare source. The 3-light is Black with Graduating Smoke glass. The 15-light comes in Black with Graduating Smoke or Polished Chrome with Clear glass. The 3-light hangs up to 128.25 in overall, while the 15-light has a 260 in cord and reaches 264 in. Canopies are 13.75 in and 31.5 in. Smoke and Black suit Modern, Industrial rooms, and Chrome with clear glass keeps a bright Contemporary look.

Which size for which room

• 3 lights, 15 in: A 15 in canopy fixture 6.75 in tall with 960 lumens and 9 lb weight, hanging 9 to 128.25 in overall, suited to a small table or a hall.
• 15 lights, 33.75 in: A 33.75 in fixture with 4200 lumens and 14.74 lb weight on a 260 in cord, hanging 9 to 264 in overall, made for a stairwell or double-height space.

Where it works best

Hang the 3-light in a hall or over a small table, and the 15-light down a stairwell or over a staircase landing in a tall room. The Smoke glass suits dark rooms and the Clear glass bright ones. Stagger the drop lengths for a rain-like effect, and pair the Chrome with clear glass with bright walls so the glass reads as water.

Who this is not for

Dewdrop is rated for dry locations only, so avoid bathrooms and porches. Dimming is Triac CL, so choose a matching dimmer. The LED is built in, and the 15-light needs a long cord drop that is only practical in tall rooms.

Why we carry ET2

Dewdrop brings glass drops at a scale that suits tall stairwells, which is rare. The recessed LED keeps the look clean.

Care and installation

Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and dry it, taking care not to bend the cords. Have a qualified electrician install it, as ET2 notes. Assembly sheets: 3 Lights (PDF), 15 Lights (PDF).

Frequently asked questions

How high does the Dewdrop 15-light hang?

The cord is 260 in, and the overall height reaches 264 in, or 22 ft. It is meant for stairwells and tall entries, so measure the void before ordering.

Which glass comes with which finish?

Black comes with Graduating Smoke glass on both sizes. The 15-light also comes in Polished Chrome with Clear glass.

Which dimmer does it need?

Dewdrop is listed for Triac CL dimming. Choose a forward-phase LED dimmer and test it for smooth, flicker-free operation at the low end of its range.

How bright is each size?

The 3-light gives 960 lumens and the 15-light 4200, both at 3000K and 90 CRI. The 15-light is an ambient feature, so add other lights for tasks.

Can it be used on a standard 8 ft ceiling?

The 3-light can, since its overall height starts at 9 in. The 15-light is better suited to tall spaces, where the long cord has room to hang.

Is it suitable for commercial use?

Yes, in dry interiors. Dewdrop runs on 120 to 277V and carries a 50,000 hour rated life, which suits lobbies and restaurants.
