Continuum LED Flat Track Light, 5, 9 or 13.5 in Long, Black or White, by ET2

The ET2 Continuum LED Flat Track Light is a slim linear LED that snaps into a Continuum run in 5, 9 or 13.5 in lengths. It gives 450 to 750 lumens at 3000K and 90 CRI, on a profile only 1 in wide and 1.5 in tall, with no bulbs to buy.

The aluminium and polycarbonate body hides an integrated LED rated for 50,000 hours, and it dims with a triac dimmer on the 24V system. The short body reads as a bar of light with very little glare, which suits shelves, cabinets and wall edges. Black gives a graphic line in a Modern or Industrial loft, and White blends into a painted ceiling in a Scandinavian or Minimalist room.

Which size for which room

• 5 in, 450 lumens, 6W: The shortest length, for a niche, a small shelf or a spot where you need a little light between track fittings.
• 9 in, 450 lumens, 9W: A mid-length bar that suits a bookcase bay, a counter section or a display case with a medium opening.
• 13.5 in, 750 lumens, 15W: The longest and brightest, for a wider shelf, a kitchen counter section or a wall edge that needs more output.

Where it works best

Run the flat lights along shelving, over a counter, in a display case or beside a mirror in a dry room. Mix lengths in one run to follow the room. Add mini spots for accents and a corner piece for wall wash. The three lengths let you build a rhythm along a long wall, such as a 13.5 in bar in the middle with 5 in bars at each end.

Who this is not for

It is rated for dry locations only, so bathrooms and outdoor spaces are out. The LED is non-replaceable. A 24V Continuum feed is required, so confirm the driver and track before you buy.

Which length should I choose?

Match the length to the opening. Use 5 in for niches, 9 in for bookcase bays or short counters, and 13.5 in when you need more output over a wider area.

How bright is each length?

The 5 in and 9 in give 450 lumens, drawing 6W and 9W. The 13.5 in gives 750 lumens at 15W. All run at 3000K and 90 CRI.

Does it dim?

Yes. It dims with a triac dimmer on the 24V system. Check the dimmer against the whole track load and test the low end during installation.

How slim is it?

The body is 1 in wide and 1.5 in tall, so it fits under shelves and along slim edges. It reads as a thin bar rather than a fixture.

Can it go in a damp room?

No. It is rated for dry locations only. Use it in dry indoor rooms such as living rooms, kitchens, offices and shops.

Can I replace the LED?

No. The LED is integrated and has a rated life of 50,000 hours. If you need a different length, choose another size.
